Skin Care Habits to Develop this Month
Developing good skincare habits is a great way to improve the health and appearance of your skin. This blog will be going through some skincare habits that we recommend you should make an effort to try to implement into your daily routine! At PAUME, each month we try, as a team, to implement better skincare habits into our everyday lives so we thought it may be helpful to list some of those habits! This might work as some inspiration for you to use for your own personal skincare journey!
Cleansing Twice a Day
Make it a habit of cleansing your face in the morning and before bed. Use a gentle cleanser that suits your skin type to remove dirt, oil and impurities that can accumulate throughout the day. Cleansing is oftentimes a step that people skip over as they are more focused on just apply products such as moisturizer or serums. But cleansing is a crucial step that helps prep your skin for the application of your skincare routine. It also allows your skin to properly absorb the skincare you apply, making it more effective.
Always Remove Makeup!
Sleeping with makeup can clog your pores and contribute to skin issues. Make it a non-negotiable habit to remove all traces of makeup before going to bed. Use a gentle makeup remover or cleanser specifically formulated for removing makeup. This is definitely always something that we all struggle with, because it can be such a hassle! But it is for sure worth it to take the extra step to make sure your skin is clean before you go to bed!
Be Gentle With Your Skin
Treat your skin gently to avoid unnecessary damage. Avoid harsh products and chemicals and ensure that you are choosing products with all natural ingredients as much as possible! Choose products that are also gentle and suitable for your skin type. Harsh chemicals tend to cause irritation and can worsen many skin conditions.
Forming good skincare habits is something that we at PAUME preach to our customers. Maintaining healthy skin is so important and once you form proper habits, taking care of your skin just becomes a part of your everyday routine! Remember that everyone’s skin is unique, so it may take time to find the best routine and products that work for you! Be [patients, and if you have specific skin concerns, consider consulting a dermatologist for personalized advice!
